Marika and Edward started their company FM Theatre Productions in Malta in 1998. They acquired the franchise for Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools for Malta that same year. Stagecoach is a school that teaches and trains children in the performing arts from the ages of 4yrs to 16yrs. Children attend a session once a week for three hours during which time they train in singing, acting and dancing. It is Malta’s largest children’s performance arts school with over a thousand students.

FM Theatre Productions is also a professional theatre producer, producing over the years, shows like Fiddler On The Roof, My Fair Lady, Annie, We Will Rock You, La Cage Aux Folles, Mamma Mia as well as a number of Christmas Pantomimes. FM is the leading theatre producer in Malta.

The company also owns its own theatre called Theatre Next Door. This comprises three fully equipped studios, a black box theatre seating 130 with flexible seating as well as offices and a cafeteria. Theatre Next Door is now four years old and has become the hardest working theatre on the island.

Edward and Marika are thrilled to be involved with such a great brand as Sanremo and are so looking forward to this exciting journey ahead.
